ABOUT
About QISCA
The Quantum Information Science Club Association (QISCA) is a nationwide coalition of student-led quantum clubs from leading universities across South Korea. Formed to advance quantum education and collaboration, QISCA brings together eight member organizations: EQS (KAIST), QUICK (Korea U.), SQRT (Seoul National U.), QIYA (Yonsei U.), KHUantum (Kyung Hee U.), DQQQ (DGIST), QuERA (Pusan National U.) and SQuAd (SungKyunKwan U.)
QISCA serves as a platform for students interested in a wide range of topics within quantum science and technology, including quantum information theory, quantum computing, quantum machine learning, quantum sensing, quantum cryptography, and quantum communication. Through this network, students share knowledge, exchange research ideas, and build connections across disciplines and institutions.
Our members actively engage in academic and community activities throughout the year. We host weekly introductory seminars and journal clubs to explore fundamental concepts and recent developments in quantum science. During academic breaks, we organize intensive seasonal schools—both in the summer and winter—where students dive deeper into advanced topics. We also hold lab and industry visits, allowing members to gain firsthand insight into real-world quantum research and applications. Additionally, QISCA hosts annual conferences that bring together students and experts to discuss current challenges and future directions in the field.
Beyond academics, QISCA emphasizes the importance of network building. By fostering collaboration among students from different universities, we aim to cultivate a strong and supportive community of future quantum scientists in South Korea.
